The wand is the alternative to a syringe injection.
It is a computer-controlled injection for local anaesthetic. The simple and elegant design makes the appearance far less confronting, which is great for children and patients with dental and needle phobia.
The deep stinging pain patients feel when receiving an injection is often caused by the anaesthetic being injected too quickly. The Wand guarantees a slow and steady injection which will increase your level of comfort and eliminate the pain factor.
The Wand is also ideal for patients who feel they have problems going numb, the machine can isolate numbness and concentrate on a single tooth using Single Tooth Anaesthesia (STA)
Happy Gas (Nitrous Oxide)
Nitrous oxide is a colourless and odourless inorganic gas combined with oxygen. The gas is used to mange pain and anxiety during dental treatment. With correct use it starts working within one minute of inhaling it, and the effects wear off quickly after the gas is removed. This makes it safe for you to operate a vehicle after your dental treatment.

Low Dose X-rays

These radiographs have extremely low doses of radiation and are of a high quality to ensure our dentists can quickly and easily identify potential problems. Digital x-rays are safer than film x-rays, producing 90% less radiation, and better for the environment by eliminating chemicals used in development.
Intra-Oral Camera
Ever been in a position where the dentist has explained something about your tooth but you can’t quite picture it…we’ve all been there. With our intra-oral camera we are eliminating confusion in the dental surgery. Our camera takes high quality images and sends them directly to the computer so we can clearly show you and explain what is happening.
OPG
OPG (OrthoPantomoGram) is a special type of x-ray image which shows all the hard tissues structures of the lower face, teeth and jaw bone. It is an effective diagnostic tool in the dental clinic as it shows the position of all teeth, as well as helping to identify possible problems in the jaw bone, TMJ. It is vital for treatment planning as it provides a comprehensive image when planning for restorative treatments, orthodontics, implants, wisdom tooth removal and root canal treatment. OPG’s are also extremely useful for patients with a strong gag reflex or small mouth as the machine takes the image from outside the patients’ mouth, eliminating the need for a film to be placed inside the mouth.
