Sleep Appliances
Sleep-disordered breathing (like snoring, mouth breathing, or obstructive sleep apnoea) can significantly impact your health. It contributes not just to fatigue, but also to clenching, grinding, and TMJ dysfunction, especially when the airway collapses or narrows during sleep.
We provide custom-made oral appliances that gently support the jaw and airway, helping to improve airflow, reduce night-time grinding, and promote more restful sleep.
These appliances are fitted with precision and are always based on a comprehensive clinical assessment.
To ensure we fully understand the underlying factors affecting your sleep, an at-home or hospital-based sleep study is often essential. This allows Dr Alexandra to complete a thorough evaluation and tailor your treatment accordingly. Where appropriate, we also work closely with ENT specialists, GPs, and sleep physicians to create a truly integrated care plan.
